KB Nau was born and raised on the southern coast of Maine where he was a Real Estate Developer in the family business. After the market crashed he moved to NYC to pursue his true passion; acting. Since then he has studied with a variety of great teachers throughout New York City. A few of whom are Richard Pinter of the famed Neighborhood Playhouse, Alice Spivac, Angela Montelbano and Kelly Kimball. The latest of whom is the phenomenal John Dapolito. Whom KB owes a serious debt of gratitude for helping him truly flesh out his craft. Recently KB has been working in film, TV and Theatre. You may have seen him as Knipstrom the bored trust fund dropout turned criminal alongside Greg Evigan, hunting Sebastian Spence and Emmanuelle Vaugier in the Scifi original film “Cerberus”. Coming to the festivals in France this spring you can look for KB in his starring role of the High Powered Criminal Attorney Johnathon Balch (for which he gained nearly 30 lbs) in the film “The Kitchen Sink”. A few of his past leading film roles include; Clean Break with Ivan Sergei, Ben Younger’s L&M, and His Beauty for My Ashes the Tai Ikomi story. TV roles have included; co-starring in the fast paced home improvement drama Room for Improvement, a major supporting role in the Korean 10 part mini-series Thawing Ice, Fox-TV’s House of Buggin’ with John Leguizamo and Comedy Central’s Pulp Comics with Jim Bruer. You may have caught his hilarious and outspoken character role of The Grand Wizard in the play “Blitzkrieg The Hassidic Professional Wrestling Musical”. A new musical by Ron Glucksman that New York critics are saying could be the next camp hit. Some of his past theatre roles include; “Madame” in Jean Genets The Maids, “Tom” in Limited Engagement and “Captain Carbon” in Cyrano De Bergerac.
